Roto tiller

"I bought the 49 inch roto tiller to help save time tilling up my garden. I was useing a small rear tiine tiller before and it took forever to till my garden. When I got it home I had to put the tines on then it was time to put it behind my tractor. The first time I used the roto tiller it hit a rock and broke off 6 bolts. I repaired it and the second time I used it the tiller found anonther rock and broke 10 bolts off. It tills good but I wish the bolts would hold up better because you never know what it will dig up. I am pleased with the results but don't like to have to keep putting new bolts on it."

Tiller

"The turn around time was good. The only issue I had was there was two large washers short. I picked up a couple at the hardware. I also had to cut the pto shaft to fit my tractor. I checked out youtube for instructions. It works good. If it had not been short those washers I would have given it five stars. Without those washers it allowed the hinged panel to hit the tines, also I had to do all the running around and exspence to get them."

Pretty good tiller for the price.

"After looking around, comparing prices and reading reviews, I decided to pull the trigger. I have used this tiller a few times now and it works very well for what I need it for. I was concerned that the price would delineate the construction but it is put together pretty well. Only complaint is the instructions/owners manual. Mine did not have assembly instructions, so it took me a while longer to figure out assembly and the English in the owners manual is so poor it is hard to figure out what they are saying. Altogether I'm very happy with the purchase!"

wouldn't purchase this again

"The design for the teeth is simply not efficient. I didn't mind installing the teeth the first time but I've reinstalled all teeth at least once and in some cases several times. I am using it to break new rows in a pasture and I understand losing a tooth or two to a rock. However, even in relatively "rock free" areas, the teeth constantly work loose and the bolts shear off. I've spent over 30% of the cost of the tiller in teeth alone and have only had the implement for one year. Good price but wasn't a good deal. My neighbor has a different manufacturer's model and he doesn't have any of the issues I have had."

Good Machine

"I have used this tiller to work up a garden and flower bed in new ground. I went over it twice and it made a well tilled and soft bed. I had to shorten the PTO coupling shaft to get it to fit on my tractor, but that was not a problem. The instruction manual's grammer was not very good but I could understand it. The tiller itself worked great and was a joy to use. It took the work out of working up the garden. Good solid construction."

An item for the field or the arena

"This is an outstanding item to work up a field for planting. It is also great for working an arena to create good even soft ground. Going over the ground one time with the rototiller replaced trips with a ripper, a disk and a harrow reducing both cost and time required."

Good and bad
December 7, 2011
"The manual is unnecessarily complex, but it was fairly straight forward to assemble. On my B7200 tractor, the shaft has to be very short - and therefore it is difficult to mount on the 3pt. After just a few uses, I've lost a number of tines, and, some simple grass wrapped around and broke one of the gear seals. A lot of the metal looks like it is from recycled tillers. Overall, it does its job, but is not suitable for heavy use."
