Very good Wheels

"I have used these wheels over the years and have had no problems with them. There HEAVY-DUTY, cost efficient and look good. However, there is a few things to note about these wheels. The picture of them is not a good representation of them, they are shorter and wider. I would guess they use one picture for that type, no-matter what the size. These wheels come with a grease fitting, which is always good to have. Plus if your going to use them inside, they roll well over carpet. I have use them both inside and out in the garage. If you use steel wheels, they can rust-up and leave spots on your garage floor. Also steel wheels can sometimes scratch your flooring (especially if something like a small pebble in garage gets struck by the steel wheel). These wheels are much better at leaving No-marks. The load rating for these wheels is decent, (not as good as some steel wheels) but great for almost anything you could want. If your not in a hurry you can catch these wheels on sale now and then. You may have wonder why I didn't give them five stars, (first I am very picky) then for me to give five stars, there gonna have to last a lot more than the 6 to 7 years I have been working with them !! (say about 25-30 years). Rubber and plastic castors can get what's called "flat spotting". This is where the bottom of the wheel develops a flat spot from sitting so long in one spot, that when you try to roll it - its not round anymore. Maybe they will make 25-30 years, I don't know. But its looking good so far !!"

Polyethylene Swivel Casters for hay dolly

"I needed to move 1000 lb hay bales in a barn to small for most equipment. Used 8 casters to build a "pallet on wheels". Relativly simple construction and results have easily resolved the problem - KISS.
Wheels roll well on concrete floors and thus far have held up well under the 1/2 ton loads. The size keeps the load at just the right heigth."

red poly casters

"I purchased 19 of these casters 16 to build dollies for moving around a project car and 3 more to put on my engine stand. I was very busy with work so I put them in a drawer of my tool box till i had time to work on my project.
Casters were in a drawer for about a year. When I removed them to start the project most of them had the red poly portion either broken or crumbling off of the black portion of the caster. I returned them to NT and they had no idea why it happened and gave me a full refund. I don't know why it happened and I still have to purchase casters for my project. may just go with the steel ones
