trailer dolly, March 8, 2007
By longhaulRVer from Port Orange, Florida

"this maneuverable little 'gem' makes childs play out of moving my 8x10 'work-shop' (trailer) in spaces way too tight to even think about getting a vehicle into & the large (10") pneumatic tires make minor surface irregularities 'no problem'. I received my order promptly and assembly is very easy. My trailer with the tools inside weighs very close to 1800 lbs. This is a must have item if you have a 'light' trailer and space is a factor. It gets the job done in short order!!"

WIsh it had a motor, November 2, 2009
By Applianceguy from Asheville, NC

"This dolly works great on my 6' by 10' trailer. Even loaded with appliances, I can move it around. Wish someone would make a reasonably priced one with a motor now."

LIGHT duty, August 3, 2009
By TomTN from Tennessee

"If you're moving anything heavier than a 4x8 trailer, forget it. I tried this dolly to move a boat around. First, the tires collapsed when turning as little as 15 or so degrees. I aired up the tires a bit. Then the RIMS bent. But I guess that solved the tire problem."

Good trailer dolly, July 20, 2009
By Schweinmesser from California

"I've got a 7x12 trailer and this dolly makes it moving around a lot easier. I can move the trailer in and out of my garage easily without hooking it up to the truck. Since space it tight, I can move and adjust the trailer with ease.
Putting the dolly together was pretty simple with basic hand tools. It seems to be sturdy but I wouldn't exceed the load capacity though.

Didn't last long, July 20, 2009
By Randen from Concord, NH

"Bought this to move my trailer in to tight spots. Worked good in the garage, but using it on uneven surface caused the tires to pop the bead seal - both went flat. Had to use a different jack to lift the trailer off the dolly, and then get the tires fixed. Be Careful Where/How You Use It - not a real tough product."

Makes Life easier, July 13, 2009
By Slappy4049 from Upstate, New York

"I use this well made, robust dolly to move my heavy log splitter. No more strained back or pulled muscles. Positioning the splitter where I need it is now a breeze! It easily lifts the splitter and the large wheels allow smooth, precise movement. I highly recommend this dolly for log splitters."

Works as advertised., July 13, 2009

"I've used a similar hand made welded dolly before to move trailers and trailers with boats on them. It works very well and sure saves my back. It was easy to put together and seems to be durable."

Great Tool, May 7, 2009
By dosamigos from Los Cabos, Mexico

"Yes, I'm another one that couldn't get along without this trailer jack. I use it a lot to park my boat and trailer in a large shop. Once inside the dolly makes it easy to cut the trailer around 90º and then push it all the way to the back out of the way. Definitely a good buy."

very good product...great price, March 23, 2009
By amarilloslim from Amarillo, Texas

"I have a small 4x8 utility trailer and need an easy way to move it around my property without driving over sprinkler heads, etc. This dolly fits the bill. It works perfectly and was certainly the right price. Try to find one cheaper locally and you will be back to purchase this one especially if you find it on sale. If you need a good solid product that is easy to assemble, save yourself some gas money from shopping around and buy this one from Northern Tool."

"Moving my 12 foot trailer was a real chore, but with the trailer dolly, it’s a breeze. It takes the weight of the tongue and allows easy steering and you can maneuver your trailer just about anywhere you’d like. I looked far and wide for a deal like this and for the price, this is, by far, the best deal around. Assembly was a snap and it’s easy to store in my garage. I’d recommend this dolly to anyone who needs to maneuver a stubborn trailer. I’d give it five stars but the welding could be improved."

No more Back Breaking lifting while pulling, March 16, 2009
By TktheDJ from Pensacola Fl

"I would strongly recommend this Trailer Dolly to anyone who is "not as Strong as they used to be", or people who have very limited space to store their trailers. I purchased my Trailer Dolly and before a week was up three of my neighbors had borrowed it and two of them bought their own.
It not only saves space where you cannot get a vechile to back into, but it is so lightweight and convinent that even my 9 year old will get the boat out so I will take him fishing.
I love my Trailer dolly and would recommend it to anyone. Easy assembled, and lightweight.

trailer dolly, March 1, 2009
By packratbob from Jacksonville, Arkansas

"Thought that this would be a real back saver, but I didn't use it long before the two-piece wheel sheared. Evidently it couldn't stand the strain of the tight turn.
according to other reviews, my trailer was smaller than some others. The picture shows what appears to be a one-piece wheel. I can not find a 1" ceenter wheel locally.

tires keep bending, January 6, 2009
By sab240 from Fort Lee, NJ

"I have now purchased two of these dollies. I purchased the second one because the wheel on the first one bent. Now the second dolly the wheels have done the same thing. I have a small 4x8 trailer, and it moves it fine on smooth ground. But once I went over any bumps the wheels can't handle it."

trailer dolley, November 18, 2008
By semoduckhunter from Cape Girardeau, MO

"purchsed the trailer dolley as a new home gift for daughter and son in law. My son in law has used it very often in the last two weeks, and has been very impressed with the ease with which that the boat trailers and utility trailers can be moved around. This truly is a back saver and makes the task of moving trailers around much simpler. I would reco this to anyone."

Dolly, November 17, 2008
By Smithy from Conn.

"This would be good for a SMALL trailer (with no tongue wheel), not for a med. to large trailer. I'm using it with a pop-up camper and is limited for this use. The ball needs to be about 3" higher and it needs tires about 2" to 3" taller. With the camper all the way down the dolly will not lift the tongue of the ground with a wheel on. Had to use a floor jack to lift up the tongue, take of the wheel and then use dolly. When done I had to jack it up, remove dolly & install wheel and let down with jack. If dolly was 5" to 6" higher at the ball this would not be necessary. I had given thought to getting taller wheels BUT the axle is 1" and that makes getting inexpensive taller wheels almost impossible."
