Excellent Saw For The Serious Logging Person!!

"The Husqvarna 345 chainsaw is an excellent, light weight saw to use around the home or woods. I have used my saw to clear an acre of my home property, and also clear 4 miles worth of ATV trails on my camp property. What I like most about this saw, is that it transfers very little vibration to your hands and arms, creating less fatigue to the operator. The adjustable oiler for the bar works great. I have never had a problem of running the bar dry of oil. I get very long run times with the saw also, which is great considering the high fuel costs. I enjoyed this saw so much, that I bought the same saw for my father. My father is a chainsaw carver, and he enjoys using this saw very much. Bottom line is that this saw will tackle any cutting project you throw at it. I will be buying another 345 saw in the near future to keep at my camp."

Best chain saw yet

"I live in the woods and always have to have a reliable chain saw. This 16in Husqvarna is the best I've had in a long time. I bought my previous chainsaw at a big-box store and the chain-brake clutch dragged so much that the plastic frame around it melted and fused with it. I thought I have blown the engine it was stuck so solidly. This Husqvarna does not have the same design flaw.
The #345 has a nice priming bulb feature. This seems to help make it quick starting. Another feature that I've never seen before is a compression release valve that makes it easy to pull start.
My only confusion was putting on the blade. The directions were not too specific. It was shipped with two throw-away washers that served as spacers in place of the blade under the bolt-on blade holder. I (stupidly?) left these on when I first assembled it and the cover would not fit. It took me a few minutes to correct my mistake."
