"I bought this and I don't regret it! This drill may not be the best out there but for the price it sure is a win win deal! Milwaukee makes decent products and the price is right. The one I received looked brand new and I have had zero problems with it."

"This is a scrappy little lithium-ion powered drill-driver. Good ergonomics. Small. Light weight. Astonishing torque, and I have the stripped-off screw heads to prove it. (When driving screws be sure to use the lower variable speed range and DON'T use the "drill" clutch setting). One use I made of the drill was to bore 3/4" holes in 50-year-old 2 x 10 joists that are about as dry and hard as a brick. The M18 performed as well as a corded drill and infinitely better than my recently deceased Ni-Cad rechargeable. The 5/8 key-less chuck's ratcheting mechanism holds bits as firmly as if it were keyed, and its quick-release makes switching from drilling to driving practically effortless. Charge time is quick, and the batteries provide near full-power right up to full discharge. Northern's standard shipping was faster than expected. Both buying and using this tool have been pleasant experiences."

Milwaukee 18-Volt Cordless 1/2-Inch Drill

"I purchased this drill after researching comparable drills and reviewing price comparisons; I've used the drill for many and various sized projects and it works great. It has plenty of power, and I like the variable clutch (high and low speed ranges plus variable speed, and the chuck is super easy to add or remove bits). The batteries charge in about twenty minutes and the charger has a built-in LED display to show charge status as batteries are recharging. The drill is reasonably light weight for its power capacity. The only negative would be it's a little loud if you're working near ear-level, but not noisy enough to make me stop working or put on earplugs."
