Great Emergency Generator

"I use this generator for emergency power during blackouts and it is capable of powering everything we need to keep going, including 2 fridges. It starts every time, and includes a 220 type plug and the standard 115 plugs as well. When the storms make our neighborhood go dark, everyone comes to the one lit house."

"Hey, what do I know about generators?...but, this sucker starts up every time, and runs my well pump, oil burner, and any and all judiciuosly employed extras (I mean, don't use the washer-dryer-range all at the same time). Oil changes are pretty easy, and don't forget the fuel stabilizer, if nec.
Kinda noisy, but what the heck."

Generator

"I bought one of these last year after enduring 2 days of power outages during Irene. My previous portable generator gave out after over use. This generator ran everything i could plug into it without straining at all. By the the time my power came on i was running multiple refrigerators, TV's and lots of light. The surge feature allows for more that adequate power to handle hi draw appliances like refrigerators to start-up effortlessly. It used less gas than i thought it would. Very well constructed. A quality prouducct."

"Order this after "Alfred" struck New England on the Halloween weekend with 18 to 24 inches of heavy wet snow on trees that had not shed their leaves yet. Power out 8+ days. Waited until just before Christmas to get back order from B&G. Quality generator, well packed, simple assembly of wheels. Complete with oil. Started instantly. Runs smoothly with less noise than expected. Found a Veranda large ottoman cover that fits perfectly. Looks a lot better than generator covers offered for a lot more money."

Powerhouse

"This generator is a workhorse. We were without power for 18 days and this thing ran non stop powering essentials at my house and my fathers house that lives right behind me. I was suprised at how little fuel it consumed powering both houses day in and day out, about 14 hours on a tank. I would definitely recommend this generator."
