"In the Bahamas, power outages are a regular part of life. The generator does the job with ease. I have it attached to 2 houses and it does the job with no problems. The remote start allows is a fantastic feature!"

"The generator starts great in warm weather, but will not rermote start in cold. Anything below 40 degress and you have to be by the unit to manually choke it. So much for remote start!!"

"only ran for testing, runs great, remote is a great feature, hooked up manual single pole transfer switch to service panel using 8/3 wire which is more expensive but lets you put the switch and generator anywhere you want. northern was great to deal with and sent right after sandy hit, truck couldn't make it through so I had to pick up, but all and all great experiance with northern tool, thanks northern for having a stocked supply."

Remote start generator

"I replaced a perfectly good manual start generator with a new remote start category 5 7,000 watt generator to use for my RV. I used it during the winter months so far. It was real nice not having to go outside at 10 pm in the cold to shut it off. Or go out in the early morning to turn it on. Just press a button. It runs great, starts from a long distance away. Makes life a lot better when there is no electric nearby."
