Review 1 for Campbell Hausfeld Oil-Free Twin Stack Air Compressor - 1 HP, 2-Gallon, Model# FP209500RB
Not for Most Air Tools
February 9, 2014
from Colorado Springs, CO
"I got it as a Black Friday Special and it came with a nail gun. It puts out sufficient air to drive the nail gun but no other air tools. The tanks do not have sufficient volume to air up a car tire without the compressor kicking on. My Super Duty's tires take seemingly forever to top off. Compressor is quite loud and cycles frquently (constantly for the truck tires). It works great for a nail gun but I had to get a larger compressor for other work."

"I bought this compressor to use inside for finnish work, it has a hard time keeping up with constant use, and it is quite noisy,I would spend the extra money next time for a better brand and model"

Not Reconditioned but Unrepaired
August 21, 2012
"I bought this compressor at a $10 discount, advertised as reconditioned. The unit was shipped to me with the drain valve broken (twisted off) and inoperative. The manufacturer was quick to send a replacement valve, but didn't tell me the old one was installed with permanent loctite. It was impossible to remove without high heat which would have seriously damaged the paint on the tank. I finally replaced the valve by drilling out and chasing the threrads with a pipe tap. Total time attempting to remove the broken valve and trip to hardware store was 2 hours. Cost of the pipe tap was $8.50. This unit was misrepresented! Both Northern Tool and Campbell Hausfeld damaged their brand images by selling this unrepaired compressor."
