Does not hold a charge

"Returned product because it did not hold a charge. The replacement did not hold a charge either. Look at other reviews on the web. Once this battery is depleted or stored for a long time (like a shipping warehouse) you will not be able to charge it to full capacity."

a decent first version product

"As indicated on the tittle is a decent initial version which can be improved. The battery pack has two 12 volts output for the lights and a usb outlet for charging phones. The 12 volts outlet are for the led lights, if you connect anything with higher current draw the battery pack will shut down. Each light is comparable to a 40 watts incandescent light bulb. I use it for a severe thunderstorm and it worked until the electricity came back. The lights are led so the current draw is minimal. Wish list for the next version. Hook or clamps to support the lights, this wish is very basic. A charge battery indicator, to only charge it when it is need."

"This is a clever product. I bought it to use on camping trips. Although it worked ok, the battery took a very long time to charge and the lights are just not that bright. I like the concept though...."

Solar power

"We used these for camping and were impressed with the amount of light they put out. We could read and play cards outside without any other light source.
It can hold a charge for 2 or 3 nights without recharging.
I just wish we could plug in our "old fashioned" cd player so I could listen to our cd's. It doesn't have a place to plug in any item with a regular plug, it is set up for computer related plug-ins that I don't have. I'm sure there is a solution for this but I don't know what it would be. Perhaps someone could enlighten me."

"We really like these solar lights. We use them in ceiling lights in a small family cabin. The lights are small wagon wheels with deer antlers on them with the solar lights in the center. we have 2 hanging in the kitchen area and you could read at the table. They are wonderful!!"
