"Perfect size and weight to be used as a backup for small appliances. We used this in January when we had an icestorm power outage. It was quiet and easy to start even in 20 degree weather.Very economical on fuel."

Plenty of Power to Spare

"The manual states that the generator is rated for 2000 Watts max power with steady state @ 1900 Watts. However; the circuit breakers (on front panel) are rated for 120 Volts @ 20 Amps which is 2400 Watts. Just fired it up and ran the A/C on my Camper which is rated for 2000 plus watts power draw on High Cool A/C.
Ran it flawlessly under max load.
So I suspect that the sustained power output is higher than rated and the unit has a conservative power output rating. The other bonus is that it was so quiet that when the A/C was running on max A/C I could barely hear the generator inside my Camper...it was sitting right outside my camper door not more than 2 feet away.
Bottom Line:
This generator is a keeper with plenty of power to spare and quiet as well. Next test is to run my 42" LCD TV and Computer along with it as it will only add another 165 Watts max to the load, if I am lucky I can still run the A/C at max as well.

"Just recieved it and only ran it for about 15 minutes ( It started on first pull ) but I can say that I was impressed on how well built & robust this unit is. It seems pretty quiet to me and has a nice solid sound to it when its running. Only complaint I have as of now is it does not come with a exploded parts list so I guess you'd have to call service and explain what part your looking for ( I plan on buying a spare fuel primer bulb & filter). I will report back as I put more time on it but as of right now I am happy."

Clean, Quiet and Portable Fun!

"It was time for our annual guys out camping trip with Dad and five of my brothers. This time we needed to assure our campsite poker game would not peak too early. In prior years the game was hindered by lanterns that burned out too quickly. We were men pretending to rough the wilderness while also embracing our technological toys to attain genuine calmness. Dad just acquired a new iPad, all of us holstered cell phones, electronic gadgets were cluttered all over the tents and of course, 16 inch air mattresses had to be filled every evening. This 2000Wi generator met our camping challenges with ease. Within minutes of being unpacked the generator jumped to life with a few simple steps. Five days of use at Shaver Lake campground resulted in zero complaints from other campers (or site manager) and never stalled once. I could go on but simply put – this Powerhouse generator was within my budget and a great value for what it delivered. And yes, our annual poker game survived the night without loss of light."
