Great clutch for my Super Tomahawk Chipper Shredde

,

By RonZ
"I bought a hardly used in like new condition 1986 Super Tomahawk Chipper Shredder about 10 years ago. I always had a problem with belts. Belt life was always short for one reason or another. The was a pulley on both the engine shaft and on the drive shaft of the shredder. I researched on the internet that on models previous to the 1986 models the company used a clutch on the engine shaft. My belief is that users would abuse the clutches and the company had to honor warranties. But after installing the Hillard clutch and not abusing/overworking/overheating I believe it will last a long time, plus the belt shows no wear in anyway. The only downside is the cost high $$$"
