"I'm not gonna lie I prefer my welders to be the same color as the oval on my truck. But in a pinch I picked up one of these and the quality can't be denied. This is a truly great machine it welds very well for its size given you choose the appropriate rod, it's not very loud and it welds just as good hot as it does cold. And what better place to buy it than Northern Tool. The power comes through pretty smooth and though it's not recommended I would trust it to power most of my electronics. This is the newer dc model not the ac model of the past which makes buying rods cheaper and easier to find. All around great machine for lighter duty stuff it's not gonna work for heavy all day welding but great for the smaller stuff and hey with the right rod she still cuts pretty deep. BUY IT!"
