" I've only had a chance to use this saw once, but it's a great value for the price. The 18 inch bar is great for all around use, and the 42cc engine has just enough power. The kit includes two chains and a convenient case which is nice. It literally has everything included (except the gas) in this kit that you need to cut right out of the box. "

" After having rented chainsaws over the years for a number of home projects, I decided it was time to invest in my own saw. I wanted a medium size saw to cut down a 75' tall 2' dia. dying pine tree at my home.
I received the saw-mixed the fuel-added the bar oil and then after checking the chain tension, started the saw. It started up after a few pulls. My son and I had the tree down and most of it cut up in one day. The saw performed flawlessly. Should have bought one of these years ago. It is light weight-has plenty of power. It was nice to get a case and extra chain also. Look forward to future projects with this great tool!

Excellent saws

" I bought this 18" to replace a 20" Poulan that is about 10yrs old. The old one is still running but the sprocket assemply and other parts have finally worn out and I decided not the spend money overhauling a saw that old. It has done a lot of heavy work and I can't imagine a better value chain saw for the occasional user than these Poulan saws with the vertical cylinder design engine. The new one was the lowest price I saw anywhere for comparable product and it came with case, tools, and extra chain. Took it out, gassed it up and it started on the 3rd pull and ran like a champ. I recommend these saws for anyone but industrial users. "

Poulon Pro Chainsaw Model PP4218AV

" One HECK of a chainsaw for the price! I initially bought the saw because I had a good experience the Poulan Wildthing for 8 years. This model is much better. I really like the reduced vibration handle and the easy starting. I have used the chainsaw on logs up to 22 inches and it works great. The weight is fine, it warms up quickly, nice power and it idles well. The carrying case is fine, and the extra chain one gets is a nice bonus.
For general use I really like this chainsaw. I've had it less than 30 days and so far no complaints. It has been excellent and has needed zero adjustments.
My brother has a big brand chainsaw costing about 2 1/2 times. After using my chainsaw he went to your website and ordered one. "
