ATV 48" Landscape rake

" I bought 15 acres 6 years ago and looked for something to maintain my 1000 ft. gravel driveway. I found this rake in my Northern catalog, but could not decide if I could justify the cost. Everytime it rains heavily the water cascading down the driveway ruts up the gravel, and I have to pay a man to dress up the drive at a cost of $65.00 each time, which is usually 5 to 6 times a year.
I retired in December and we moved up on the mountain full time. Sure enough, the first big rain the drive washed out again. I looked up the Northern rake online, read the reviews, and immediately called my local Northern store. They had 3 in stock, and held one for me.
From the first time I used it on my drive I was thrilled! The rake pulled the gravel piled off the sides of the drive, and spread them easily. Our place is heavily timbered with hardwoods, and the leaf litter was over one foot deep. I decided to try and use the rake to clear up the leaves. It does a great job, and is extremely durable.
Now that the cleanup is done, I lowered the times one inch, and have made nice paths that meander through the woods for my wife and I to take the grandkids for walks on.
This is a great tool!!

" When I first moved to northern Idaho and bought a 9 acre parcel, one of my intentions was to grow our own vegetables in a large vegetable garden plot. We were faced with ground that was full of rocks and not easily tilled. I had already bought an old Farmall tractor that didn't have a 3 point hitch so I needed to get implements that were the tow behind style. I purchased this rake to prepare seed beds and remove the rocks in our soil. A side benefit was that it could also be used to keep our 1/4 mile long driveway neatly graded. This rake has surpassed all my expectations. It prepares a beautiful seedbed, removes the rocks and really does a beautiful job keeping the driveway neatly graded.
The rake was easy to put together and so far has been used heavily with great results.
Thanks Northern Tool for another great product!

" Quick delivery, easy to assemble, works as advertised. I use it attached to a garden tractor for spreading horse manure in pasture. "
