"There's a few spaces in my shop (and within the crevices of my vehicles) where small screws, nails and the like often fall. To recover them, I use to tie a magnet to a string. Way less than effective. This works way better, allowing me to point it where the debris is, clamp on with a good magnetic pull and extract. The locking hinge makes getting the right angle very easy."

"more than once this little jewel has saved my bacon. Nuts or fittings dropped in places where you hand doesn't fit but can cause serious damage are no problem any longer.
it's flexible enough to get in tight hidden places and strong enough to pull up lots of dropped items... I used them much more often than I should... I'm somewhat clumsy!"
