"in land surveying you drive a lot of wooden stakes in the ground...sometimes hundreds in a day. We used to use an axe but after buying this three pound hammer, we never used anything else.
It's the best weight without being too heavy. it's well balanced and the grip cushions the repeated shocks. Best of all it's compact size fits in the stake bag easily."
