The NorthStar ATV broadcast spot sprayer comes equipped with a NorthStar on-demand diaphragm pump. Wide 14ft. spray pattern with with dedicated broadcast lance/nozzle - no boom arms to clip and break on trees or posts. Heavy droplet pattern ensures minimal drift. Separate spray gun adjusts from stream to cone. Universal spraying solution lets you spot spray and broadcast spray at the same time. NorthStar's proprietary tank design features extra-thick walls that won't bulge or sag. It stands up to chemicals thanks to a special polymer known for its superior chemical resistance. Great sprayer for acreages

"I've been using this sprayer for about 2 months on my 4 acre yard spraying herbicide and compost tea from the back of my Honda Foreman. The spray is very uniform and the handheld wand is great for spot treatments. The spray distance from the wand is excellent and I can spot treat without leaving the four wheeler up to a good 15' or better.
The broadcast spray arm had a pinhole leak on the on/off valve that shot straight up in the air about 2' when the valve was off, but a call to Northern got a replacement sent immediately and it works fine now.
The broadcast sprayer width makes it very easy to cover large areas in a short period of time. The user manual includes a chart for calculating your mix so you can adjust your concentration or application speed to get the proper amount of chemical down.
Definitely recommended for buyers who have larger lawns or acreages."

"I bought the 26 gal. sprayer last spring. What a great product. I use it on my mid size quad to spray herbisides on my deer plot fields. Very effective and efficient 14 foot wide spray. I also built a rear rack to use it on my 15 hp. riding lawn mower to spray lawn weed spray to rid my large lawn of weeds. I now do in 20 minutes what took me 2 hours with a hose sprayer. The ease is great. The hand sprayer is great for fine and careful spraying near other vegetation."

"I have had the sprayer for 2 seasons now. I spray approximately 15 acres per year and it works very well. I like the switch location compared to other sprayers I have used. I also like the nozzle set up due to tight areas I spray with trees and brush. It is much better in tight areas than the boom type.
Seems very sturdy compared to others I have had that last one season."

"Sprayer works great, and is a good buy for the money. Has wide range with the broadcast attachment, great for insect and general purpose spraying. Be careful when using chemicals such as roundup. Sprayer does leak just a bit in the valves near the pump while the pump is running... you just may end up killing a nice little trail where ever you drive. I have the sprayer mounted to the back of a four wheeler."

"I put the sprayer on my Gravely ZeroTurn. It worked great. What a time saver. The 15ft hand wand worked well in the hard to reach areas. I ended up doing my three nieghbors yards also once they saw how quick it was."

"Sprayed at least 40 tanks with no issues. Works likes a champ. Sits in my Ranger perfectly and the height of the broadcast sprayer wand sits over the tailgate just fine. Used it with an ATV as well -- no worries."

"This sprayer works very well , the only thing that I would change is the sprayer tips to put out application a little lighter , as it comes from factory tips put tank of chemical application out much heaver than desired or needed. But overall ,this is a very good sprayer for the money ."

"The right tool for the right job - this is it! I have used other manufacturer's equipment and almost did not buy this because I thought all the light duty rigs were junk. I was wrong. It worked well and made the job quick and easy, Spot spraying was especially good. The only bad comment was how many plastic parts there were."

"I bought the 26 gallon NorthStar ATV Sprayer. Its like a new world spraying my 1 acre went from 2 1/2 hours of spraying to 20 min. I put it on the back of my golf cart. it takes longer to get it filled and strapped down than it does spraying the yard. I recommend it to all my friends works great!!"

"At first glance this is the ideal sprayer. Trouble is there's LOTS of plastic parts. I haven't used it yet and broke a PLASTIC hose union and then a PLASTIC union on the wand. Also it takes quite a while to figure out rate of application and rate of speed, with no easy to read instructions. i can't wait to use it, i hope i don't break anything else before then!

"Was easy to assemble and use, spray boom does a real good job in spraying and covering the area being applied. Replaced the 15 foot hose with a 40 foot hose made it much easier to spot spray. 3rd time I went to use the sprayer the broadcast valve leaked through the twist part of the valve and threaded part, called Northern tool was sent a replacement setup for the system. Overall this is a very good sprayer, does a excellent job."
