This cordless drill/driver is amazing. I would say it is at least 90% of a classic electric drill. And the batteries are amazing. They last at least 4x as long as my previous 18V Milwaukee cordless drill.
With two speed zones and a drill and driver setting, this tool performs even better than advertised. Plenty of power that just won't quit. Drilled 150 holes and drove over 125 screws and it was still going strong on the first charge. Comes with two batteries and an easy to use AC charger. Excellent torque control. Recharges quickly. All functions are very intuitive to implement. Included magnetic bit holder that fixes screws in the bit proved very handy. Well balanced and not too heavy for long jobs.
Amazing, I swore off cordless tools years back. They never worked good and the batteries were always dead. Not this one. The battery will stay up non-used for over two months. it wont be 100% but enough to do some work. I have two batteries and swap them out when one gets low. I have noticed after 6 months of use the charge indicator goes to 50% real quick but they seem to last as long as they ever did. Each battery has been charged about 50 times. Now the amazing part. I was putting in kitchen cabinets and was screwing the fronts together between the doors. In the corner was a filler plate so i grabbed a 3 1/2" deck screw and started screwing it in at about 10 RPM. The drill never hesitated and from the start I was able to completely control the speed. When I got done I noticed I had it on high not in the low range. That was my "wow" moment. not even my 1/2" corded drill would have done this with such precision. I also use this drill with a 2 9/16" self-feed bits that really need a full size drill for. I have to use low but it will drill more holes through old 2x8 lumber on a charge than I've ever needed to drill.
