love it

"I've had this heater installed about a month now. Mine is the natural gas model. I have a 22x28 garage with 3 insulated garage doors, and 1 wooden 36" walkthrough door. My walls are insulated but my ceiling is just plywood attic flooring. It takes my garage from about 40 to 60 degrees where it's set in about an hour. The colder it is outside the longer the unit runs or cycles off and on more frequently. It maintains the temp without problems though. I can hear it run, but the noise is not a problem. In fact, it's much more quiet than a high velocity fan I have. I haven't operated it enough to say how much gas it uses but so far I have no complaints at all. It works great!"

need bigger heater

"Although this heater would be well equipped for a one car garage, in Florida, it does not put out enough heat to heat my 576 sq. ft. (24x24) shop to the point of shutting off when it is 35 degrees outside and thermostat is set on 68. I think 81% efficiency rating is way off mark, more like 70. Also likes its propane like a duck likes water, not very efficient. Also as other reviews stated, came with the housing bent but could straighten without affecting heater was only cosmetic, needs better packing. Showed lots of sign of abuse during handling either by supplier or shipper. Overall it does make it bearable to work in shop during cold spells, but don't plan on taking your jacket off."

"I love this heater. I use it to heat my 20x30 work shop. I just keep about 40 deg all winter except when I'm working, or painting. I don't use 200lbs of LP all winter and fan is almost to strong. Easy to install. Did it by my self in less than a day."

"I have been using this to heat my 16' x 40' x 9' Insulated workshop for several years. I set the thermostat at 55 degrees minimum and get 14-18 days on a 100 pounds of propane, way better then my older propane furnace."

Great Product

"We bought this heater to heat our Maintainance and Utilities room for our campground during the winter months in Northern Ohio. All of our water storage tanks and water heaters are in this room (18X36). We turn off everything, but keep all of the water systems charged during the winter. We have used this furnace for 6 years and have never had a problem with it. It worked out perfectly for us for our application. I highly recomend it for a good size garage. I have a 30X30 being built and I plan on installing one in it when it is completed."

"The fan does not blow very hard. Will not throw a lot of heat. At 35 degrees out side i barely got it 45 degrees inside. I also used up a 100 lb propane tank in 12 hrs."
