"From box to welding was about 15 minutes and that included reading warnings and instructions. This unit works well for light and home/farm hobby stuff. Seems a lot handier than my stick welder. Also being used by my 16 year old to further his hobby interests, it's that easy to use.
The down side was the shield. The outer lens was broke on arrival. If I thought it would get used I would have asked for a replacement but I think the shield will be nothing more than a wall decoration.
