New Titan Welding Helmet

"Initially thought helmet was bad upon arrival. It would not trigger looking straight at the sun like my other electronic one does. I called the 800 number and they told me this one was designed "not" to trigger on sunlight, reguardless of settings. Anyhow, i set it up similar to my other weld helmet and it works great under arc conditions. Did not like: the delay setting is a switch with 3 fixed positions: fast, medium, and slow only (prefer an adjustable knob for this like my other helmet has). Likes: Cool graphics, this helmet does trigger faster than my other 1/25,000 helmet (better for 40+ eyes, in my opinion), headband/headgear works good and is comfortable, all settings and adjustments work as advertised. I would recommend to others. I only used this helmet for MIG applications, thus far. Electronic is the way to go if you are just starting out, as you can see your electrode position without interruption, at the moment the arc fires up."
