Versatile and easy to assemble!,

"Easy to assemble, light weight and adjusts to your specific vehicle. Can be set higher or lower than the hitch mount and close in to the bumper or further away to allow extra clearance. Very sturdy design and the higher sides help to hold things in place better than other units on the market. We used with the Curt RV Bumper Hitch (NT #125576) to hold our propane generator and bottles. Made having electricity away from plug-in power much more convenient."

Great for extra carry capacity,

"I bought this basket cargo to use on many trips, it's great. But keep in mind that if you have any vehicle is not base on full size truck, then this product is not for you. It is a little heavy, also it has so much room that you tend to put more thing to maximize its load capacity, that is a bad idea if you don't have a full size truck. On highway, at high speed (60 mph+) the weight will reduce the stability of your vehicle.
On the other hand, if you have a full size SUV this product is a "must have" for road trip. Another advantage about this product is it ride at the back of your vehicle (not on top) so it does not add any more wind resistance to your vehicle at all, also since it in the back you can load thing on it alot easier as well as accessn to your load during the trip."

"Transporting 5-gallon gas cans inside my SUV used to be dangerous, smelly and inconvenient. I can now bungee up to five gas cans in this basket and get them home safely and conveniently."

"This is a well built unit with quality materials and welds. The cargo basket was easy to assemble. The parts fit very well together and when complete, it is very sturdy. The tongue has enough off set to enable the lift gate on our Jeep Grand Cherokee to open and for a person to stand between the cargo basket and the Jeep. For added safety, I purchased and installed clearance lights on the cargo basket and wired them into a trailer wiring harness."

"The Valley Hitch Mounted Basket Cargo, Model# 90590 is the best design if you want to carry bulky or heavy objects that might shift. I use mine almost all the time and the only things that I have added are larger reflectors on the back and sides. I highly recommend it for extra carrying things, or things you don't want in your SUV. Comes in great at a job site if you need to move a cooler or tools around the site."

Better than I thought for the price,

"I got this to haul generators and luggage, I then tried putting my Yamaha scooter in it, it worked great! I would have paid more for this basket, its a really nice cargo carrier."

Hitch mount basket,

"Delivery of item was prompt and it arrived in good condition.
Assembly was easy requiring only a typical wrench and screwdriver.
Getting the cargo basket to the correct position in the hitch receiver is a bit tricky due to the weight distribution.
In retrospect, I probably should have bought the folding model, so it could be temporarily stored on the vehicle in the upright position.
Overall a good product and a positive customer experience."

"In purchasing the Hitch Mounted Cargo Basket for our R.V., I don't know how we have done without this item. It is very easily installed and hooks to the back of your vehicle. It is very much needed to carry items such as bar-b-que grills, lounge chairs, septic items, extra large cargo items. It features a number of uses. Whatever the need. It is made very well and looks nice when mounted. I would highly recommend this item to any person needing to carry extra cargo, etc... Northern Tools catalog and online ordering is the perfect web site for finding mostly anything needed to made life easier. As I don't walk well enough to go and shop in stores, I enjoy shopping in catalogs and online purchase. Northern mades it easy to order wheather by phone, catalog or internet."
