Buy this Receiver Tube Adapter - works great,July 14, 2009

"Not only is this Receiver Tube Adapter a great product - it is also the ONLY product I could find anywhere on the internet. I have a newer GMC Sierra 2500HD (2008) which only comes with the large receiver (~2.5"). NO ONE has a solution for this problem EXCEPT NORTHERTOOL. I have used this adapter for my dual motorcycle carrier (600 lb max) and for a 2" ball hitch - rated at 13,000 lbs. It is very simple and easy to use - just insert the adapter into your larger 2.5" receiver and then your ball/hitch - or whatever - fits a standard 2" receiver. The final pin should slip easily between all three: (1) your truck's 2.5" receiver, (2) this adapter, and (3) your 2" ball hitch (or in my case also my dual motorcycle carrier). NORTHERTOOL should be calling/mailing/emailing EVERY large equipment and/or RV/trailer and/or boat rental and/or GMC retail company in the USA announcing this solution - believe me they ALL need this solution (YESTERDAY)!"
