Keeps the feet from freezing!

"I work in an outside shop, standing on a cement slab all day. Colorado winters can get cold, and this mat has helped me by extending my work day by a couple hours! I usually quit once my toes are so cold that they hurt, but this helps keep the chill off. It does take a little while to heat up, though, in the morning, so I gave it four instead of five stars. Pays for itself with increased productivity, and I would and have recommmeded it to my collegues."

"Love it love it love it!!! Very sturdy, very well made. I have ceramic tile floors that get cool in winter. Put this in the bathroom . . . wonderful to step onto after shower. Just wish it was made in slightly larger version."

Not just for the shop

"We live in Minnesota, where the winters can be cold. I bought this for my husband's office. His building is on a concrete slab, and his office is on the north side of the building. His feet were getting cold, and a space heater was not allowed, so we tried this. It works beautifully! No more cold feet."

This floor mat helps with a cold cement floor

,
November 19, 2008

"This floor mat makes a difference with the cement floor in my home machine shop when cold.
I measured the cement floor and ambient temperature and both were ~40 degrees F.
The mat temperature rose to ~80 degrees F this kept the floor temp from being transferred though my shoes.
I normally heat my shop area to ~65 in the winter, but this mat helped during the heat up with the problem of the cold cement floor that takes a very long time to heat.
The mat is easily cleaned of shop debris, metal chips, etc.
Did not notice a smell as noted in some other reviews.
The only thing I see as a negative are the 0.1” raised rectangular (1.2”x8”) parts on both sides, would have been nice if the mat was all at the same height.
A must have for a cold cement floor!
I am now considering a second mat.

A Little Pricey - but sure does keep feet warm

,

"Overall sure does feel better than a cold concrete floor in the winter. A little pricey and could have more cushioning but I just put it on top of some old carpet or another softer mat. I have had it for a little over a month and have used about 15 days with no issues. Bottom line is if you have to stand on a cold floor get one."
