Product Pictures are Deceiving

"Mostly all the pictures I have seen show this heater with a heater stand. When I opened the box the instructions stated the stand was sold separately. Maybe when I get the heater in the stand so that it can be in front of my legs, rather than on the side of my desk, I will feel the heat more. But as for now, I barely feel it."

Not quite enough heat, but it helps

"I think this product falls just a little short on heat output. My shop is usually chilly with it's ambiant temperature usually in the 55 to 60 degree range. My desk is a "shell" type which is enclosed on three sides, and I mounted the unit under the desk on the front panel. That is likely the best possible set-up to use this unit. I sit behind the desk for half the day. It certainly helps reduce the chill on my feet and legs, but I'd like it just a bit warmer. If your ambiant temperature is a little warmer than mine, it would probably be just fine for you. I'd recommend this product with the caveat being, if your room temp is as chilly as mine, it might not be enough."

great heater

"Got this for my wife. She says it works great, plenty of heat. I was concerned about that since it uses only 150 watts. Seems to be very well made. Only problem was the self stick pads didn't hold it in place. Not really a surprise since it is fairly heavy. A couple of "ell" brackets took care of that. We got the optional high-low on-off switch and mounted it nearby to make it easier to turn on and off."

Mom's Happy

"I bought this heater for my mom, she uses it at work as her office is always cold. Her co-workers have also purchased these heaters after realizing how well they work. The unit mounts easily under the desk, out of the way even for summer months These work great with the metal desks that they have keeping alot of people happy especially my mom. My and many other moms thank you."

"We used one of these in our office. You have to sit close enough to actually feel the heat, but not to close, because touching it is a bad idea."
