"I have installed this sensor on several driveways and it works great. It is sensitive and transmits 500 ft the longest range in my usage. I did not test it beyond but it works great."

"When I originally purchased this item, it was an add on as a theft deterrent for a friend's home-based business. Little did we know it would be useful to catch his son sneaking out of the house in the middle of the night to visit with his girlfriend! Bottom line - very useful and works great."

third time's the charm,

"I returned the first unit because it had a range (outside with no walls between sender and receiver) of 20 feet max. Second unit would not work at all. I received the third unit and it works fine.
Kudos to Northern for the effort. Be ready for being on hold for Chamberlain's tech line however."

"We live way out in the country and kept having people stop by and had no idea they were on the property until they were knocking on the door. So after finding what we needed with Northern Tool we placed the order and had very good delivery time. We purchased both the base unit and an additional unit for the other side of our round driveway. After installation, we found that the alert noise was toned just right. So it alerted us but wasn’t offended by the noise either. One little problem was that my husband installed it just a bit too low and the dogs set it off when they were playing or chasing ever-present squirrels. So after adjusting the height above the dogs we have excellent notice on people driving up. The squirrels do occasionally set the alarm off but that is to be expected. The distance from our house to the devices is about 300 feet."

"I have a base unit in the house with two transnitters set up facing each other about 60 feet apart covering the front of my property to alert me when someone is approaching the house or messing with my vehicles in the driveway. "Nice product. It's a little pain sometime but it works great. It will read everything from a mouse to a bull. Would i recommend it (Yes), but buy two transmitter if you're going to get it for the ranch."

"Easy to install. I set them lower than recommended, did just what I wanted it to do. First week got 3 coyotes raiding chicken coups, 6 rabbits in the garden & 2 deer, eating moma's roses. It does notifie you of intruders caught one gas thief.

No more unannounced knocks on my door,

"I have an entrance gate to my property that is a distance from my home, when UPS deliveries, friends come to see me, ect. Thanks to the early alert the unit provides and the distance unit covers to the receiver it has really been impressive and a great help in receiving my visitors in a calm and not unannounced knock on my door. The unit being made in USA is also nice to know."

"This was an add on to an existing system, which works well or I wouldn't have added to it, right? Setting up an additional detector was simple, took just minutes. I now have total perimeter sensing for about 100 bucks, and I can add a light to the base unit, (it has a buzzer) with little fuss. Great unit."

Chamberlian Driveway Signal,

"Overall the Unit works well. I have the remote units (2) about 100' from the base unit. I had to re-learn one of the remote units three times in two months. A little annoying. Last week that remote unit quit working altogether. I called the Chamberlian Customer Service and almost immediatley got to speak to a real person who "spoke English" He was very helpful trouble shooting the unit and finally gave me an RGA number to return the defective unit and is sending me a replacement at No Charge. I think any electronic devise is prone to possible problems. The way the person at Chamberlian handled the problem was very satisfactory and I will look for and buy Chamberlian products in the future."

"I have been using these units for three years now on our country property/home to detect visitors and potential intruders. I just purchased two extra transmitters and a base unit.
Had no failures to date and the only problem is the batteries performance during extreme low outside temperatures; but at that time travel is really reduced in this area.
I am very satisfied and wished I was too with other products I buy."

Driveway alarm,

"This product is worth the price. We live in a remote area in the mountains of Virginia and my wife is sometimes at home alone. I would be concerned for her while she was by herself even with the alarm system on and the doors locked. This alarm system is set so when someone begins to traverse our 600' driveway it lets her know someone is coming. She can then monitor the situation to see who it is before they even get close to the house. It helps too at night because I can then turn on spotlights directed at key areas of our drive to see if it is someone on foot or just a deer.
