Solar Powered Floodlight w/Motion Sensor,
October 13, 2009
By Southernexposure from Westminster, Maryland
"I purchased this item and read the instruction very, very carefully because of some of the other reviews. I followed these as closely as possible. I even let the solor panel in full sunlight for more than four (4) days. I installed the panel facing directly SOUTH into dailey sunlight. I tested it several times and it appeared to work very well-dim, but it did have light. It appeared to work dimly for about four (4) days.....If you are expecting a flood light, this is not the item. NOW IT DOES NOT TURN ON AT ALL. I turned it off and tryed to recharge, retested and still not even a dim light. In my opinion, save your money. I would like my money back."

Can't get lights to work,
July 26, 2009
"We have full day sun. One light tested ok but didn't work at night. The other one hasn't worked at all. We have followed instructions and these lights are placed where other solar lights are working (not motion sensor).
We don't know anything else to do.
I need the lights."

Easy to install - Limited service life,
March 15, 2008
By powerpack from hudson valley, ny
"I bought 2 of these units to illuminate my 400' driveway. They were very easy to install and illuminated the target zone perfectly. However, the systems only lasted about 6 months. The units failed about 2 weeks apart from each other. If you are doing a project and need temporary security lighting, this may be a good alternative to conventional wiring, but consider them as project consumables."

"You can find replacement batteries for this at ragebattery. They sell for $5.95. So I bought 3. Put one in and it worked great again for 3 days. Last night it wouldn't go on again. See my other review. I have been disappointed with this product.
I wouldn't by another even on sale at $8.00 off.
Jack"

Good Invention but...,
March 7, 2007
By Dock from Golden Valley, AZ
"This is a nice invention, and would fit in a place where it is not used very often, due to the battery life. It works as it was intended, however if it is placed too close to a road, or a place with a lot of action, it turns on too often, causing the battery to go dead. With more battery life, it would be an awesome product, and could be used anywhere on the property."
