Needs improvement

"I must say I like Dewalt products as a whole. This hammer drill in particular needs improvement. I use it to drill through walls of all material types daily. After a few months the drill starts to come apart at all joints as the screws start to back out or strip due to being screwed into plastic. Especially where the metal gear housing screws in. I almost invariably end up with the battery clips failing and the battery falling out. Dewalt needs to consider the vibration factor. Installing metal inserts in the plastic motor housing to screw the gear housing into and or using stronger springs and bushings to compensate for vibration could help."
