"Bought this saw years ago before it was fitted with the new stand, great saw, very accurate for a portable but a bear to move around, ordered the new stand a couple months ago. The design of this thing is awesome,no more lugging, just wheeling it in place and folding it out with one hand! The stand truly separates this saw from the rest."

"The saw works great. It is easy to load in the truck with just one person, just set the black rubber coverd bar on the truck and lift in the other end. I use the saw in my shop and take it out on the job when i need it, saved money from buying two saws. It is very easy to set up and take down and rolls around nicely"

"I used to borrow this saw from my good friend when I had a project. I loved it so much that I didn't want to return it. In order to keep my friendship, I returned it and bought my own just like it. Bosch makes the best quality table saw for the money. It has lots of great features and is very durable. It is light when you need to move it. I have used mine to finish the inside of my Pole Barn and many other projects. It is easy to set up and you can make adjustments quickly. Great for ripping boards when you need alot of the same size. You can't go wrong buying this Bosch when you need a table saw."

"This is the table saw I always wanted when I went to a big-box store and it was set up. I finally got and it didn't disappoint. Sure, the price of admission is steep, but it is worth it. Everything works great. It is a little big and hefty, but it is built for heavy duty use. Every Bosch tool I've ever had is great and will continue to replace my tools with them as they need it."

"For perspective, this saw is a replacement for a stationary table saw. I wanted the portability and space savings of a contractor saw while retaining as much cutting quality as possible. Others consider me a very skilled "home handyman".
While no longer a young man, I find the size and weight of this saw very managable. I can put it in the trunk of a car or in a SUV without a struggle. It is compact, especially stored on end, and allows me to take my cutting outside instead of facing the inevitable clean-up after using a stationary table saw inside. The load-compensated stand make the saw easy to set up, and surprisingly stable, although not like a heavier stationary table saw. Even the pneumatic tires are a plus, compared to some saws I considered with hard wheels.
In use, one of the first things I noticed was the feel of the moving parts. Regardless of what you adjust or change, everything moves smoothly and has a precise feel. After initial check-out and set-up, the saw has held all alignment extremely well - surprising to me for a saw that is moved around a lot (sometimes over rought terrain). I am convinced that keeping the blade aligned parallel to the fence even helps blade life.
The fence is a joy: very precise, smooth moving, substantial, stays square, and easy to use. The extendability of the table to accommodate wide plywood works very well, while keeping the fence square. The extension to support wood on the out-feed side really helps and has proven strong and druable. I like the power: first the "soft-start" spools up the blade very smoothly, then the total power available for tough cutting is great. Blade changes are easy, and there is pleanty of room for dado blades.
After bringing this saw to help with other people's projects, two of my friends have also purchased this Bosch saw. Now we all recommend it. This saw represents great value."

"That's right, the difference between this saw and other "top-of-the-line" table saws is deep and wide. (What in the world does that mean?) IT MEANS YOU GET FIVE CONTINUOUS HORSEPOWER AT A CONSTANT SPEED!!! Soft start technology was only available for high voltage motors, and since nobody dares put 4,800 volts into residential homes, Bosch said no, lets design new high efficiency capacitors for low voltage applications. I expected that it might work for 230 volts 3 phase MAYBE... but amazingly this saw only requires 110 volts and 15 amps at maximum load and the blade doesn't slow down the same way cheaper saws do, reducing binding, jamming, kickback, and burning."

"I have owned this model for a couple years, it has many useful features such as the sawdust collection tube, the side extension for longer boards, the ease of adjusting angles. But the best feature is the folding table that turns into a dolly like unit, my brother often borrows mine and he can easily load it by himself."

"I've purchased a number of Bosch tools and have never been disappointed. The jobsite table saw is no exception. Portability is excellent. Accuracy of cuts has proven to be great. "This saw for a portable one is really spot on. The weight is within reason and the built in extension comes in handy. The spare blade holder is a good feature. The fence is easy to use and cutting slightly over 24 inches is great also. The dust port makes it easy to hook up to a shop vac. All in all combined with the soft start and all the other features I'm glad I bought this saw. Thanks so much and I hope this helps."

"I purchased this saw due mostly to good reviews in several magazines, websites, etc. Since I have a very small storage area, I liked the appeal of the fold-up design with the gravity stand. It was a bit pricey but has fully met and even exceeded my expectations. The stand works wonderfully. It's easy to set up and take down. The saw was true right out of the box and has performed very well. I've ripped walnut, poplar, oak and various thicknesses of plywood with no problems. I purchased the rear extension support for it which has been a good help. Overall, this is one of the best purchases I've made. Like all the Bosch tools I own, it's a good one."
