"I've had this chest mounted to the front of my lawn trailer since 2009 and have had no problems with it at all. Keeps all my tools dry. I carry a handheld blower, pruners, 2 gas hedge trimmers, chainsaw, bolt cutters, wrench set and a small toolbox all in this chest. I've just ordered another one to put on my second lawn trailer."

Low profile toolbox

"As advertised, my new toolbox fits well in the truckbed of my Chev 2500 which is equipped with a thick, plastic bedliner. The angled lower edges get that done. The workmanship on each of the edges and welds is good. It is spacious and I added the rubber mat to the inside lower deck to prevent tools from sliding on turns. The offset on the upper, rear hinge is a good idea, allowing it to open without bumping the rear windshield. I worry about the durability of the locks and paddle handles, but I notice that Northern Tools sell replacements. Other reviewers indicate the plastic trays get in the way. I have not experienced that."

Handy storage

"I have a Dodge with a truck rack and this is the only box I could find that would fit between the rails leaving space to access the tie down hooks along the bed. It was also low enough that I was able to weld a rack to raise it 6" off the bed so I could slide plywood under it and not lose the space."
