Darby Truck Accessories Extend A Truck
Supports lumber and other loads 10ft. to 18ft. long. 4ft. long steel extension fits any truck with a Class III receiver hitch. Bed level adjusts from 16in. to 23in. up from the hitch. Roof level adjusts from 55in. to 62in. up from the hitch. Not only extends length of truck bed, but can be adjusted to match truck roof height! 4ft. wide support beam has height adjustment of 6 1/2in. and holds up to 350 lbs. Removes in seconds, stores behind truck seat. Comes with red flag. .

Great for transporting Kayaks,

"I purchased this product several years ago for transporting the occasional long objects with my p/u truck. Last year I purchased two 14' kayaks and this product has made transporting them very easy. While I watch others struggle to get their kayaks on their roof mounted racks, I'm quickly loading mine onto my truck, tieing them down and am on my way. A great product and you can't go wrong for the price."

"I have used this to extend my pickup body thereby allowing me to carry several kayaks 4 and more! This is a simple to use device when combined with the universal roof rack allows for top loading as well, leaving the bed free. Biggest bang for the buck when compared to other accessories to haul long items! Fits any standard hitch."

"This product is very versatile and easy to use. I purchased this item for use with my canoe but have found other functionality for it. It is great while hauling lumber or other long items that would otherwise pertrude from my truck bed. Highly recommend this product and Northern had teh best price."

"This is a very versatile addition to my truck. With a 6.5 foot bed, it is difficult to haul long lumber and the Extend A Truck is a great solution. I also purchased a roof top bar that can be used with the Extend A Truck in the high position to haul very long lumber, but the weight is pretty limited. I would recommend this device to increase the length of items that can be hauled. It is very easy to install and works well."

"I saw the extend a truck and thought it might be a good idea.
What a super product. I have used this baby countless times.
For hauling ladders, just great, no more tying to the roof of my truck.
I had to carry 16 foot decking boards... Worked just great.
Easy to use and stores anywhere."

"Worked exactly as I had hoped. Has multiple holes to allow for height adjustment to fit various models. Quick and easy to install and remove. Came without instructions, but I found it easy enough to figure out. Relatively intuitive. Only caveat would be to make sure receiver is solid and well mounted."

"This handy little device alows me to do most any remodeling project without having to hook up my big flat bed trailer. It also alows me to carry a full size load in my "short box" which is even shorter with a tool box. Its a great low-cost alternative to expensive lumber racks."

"At first I had my doubts about this item. However, after using it a few times, it has proved itself. Carrying 16 foot long lumber and extention ladders out of a pick up bed is a snap with the Extend-A-Truck. Now people want to borrow it all the time. It's a lot easier using the Extend-A-Truck then connecting and manuvering my 5x10 trailer. Great little item."

"Purchased this item for my son (age 25) as a christmas present. He uses it for transporting extra long loads in his 6ft bed ford truck.He also uses it as a work bench on the job site (new home construction). He states that this device is the neatest thing since sliced bread and that it was the best gift he had ever received."
