Great Tank,
July 24, 2009
By henley from Connecticut
"Recently, I purchased the 60 gal. auxhilary tank for my fith wheel tow vehicle. My truck had a 90 gal tank, which was over kill for an RV. I also could not use a bed cover on my pick up. The 60 gal tank with tool box must have been designed specially with a low profile to fit under the bed cover, to maintain that smooth sporty look and hide my tank so as not to make it easy for self help people to gas up. My truck has 2/3 more fuel capacity for longer distance and allows me to seek out bargan fuel stops. Also mentionable is the fact that I now have secure storage for my chocks, power cordes, stablizer jacks, etc.
Its a great buy and as serviceable as any brand on the market.
I highly recommend this item."

"Had it installed for about 2 months now and everything has worked perfectly. Would have given it a 5 but the only thing I don't like about it is the mounting tabs at the bottom of the unit. They are too small. I replaced those with larger ones when we installed the tank."

60 gal. aux tank and tool box combo.,
October 29, 2007
By jrssmoker from Ogden, UT
"I was very dissapointed with the quality of welds and finish on the edges and seams on the box. The welds were spotty and had arc marks from the electrode coming in contact with the surrounding metal (apprentice welder). This tank/tool box would have been acceptable for a old work truck but not a 45,000 Show Truck. I had the delivery driver stay while I removed most of the packing, it was'nt until I removed all of the cardbord around the lid that I noticed it was dented. I called the freight company to get the driver to return to inspect the damage. I was told the damage had to be noticed while the driver was there to obtain any consideration for damage. Caution-Unpack the tank completely before the driver leaves!!!"

Auxiliary Fuel Tank/Toolbox Combo: Diesle,

"Great tank with a small tool box on top that's perfect for those things we always need but have no where to put them. Couple this with the Install Kit and you have something that looks good and works with no problems. Very easy install and now we don't have to stop so much for fuel. I'll buy another one when I get a new truck."

Auxiliary Fuel Tank and Toolbox Combo,

"I love having the extra fuel on board. My biggest pet peave with the trucks today is small fuel tanks, this takes care of it.
My only complaint is with the weld quality where tool box is attatched to tank. I had 1 pinhole leak at that point, but a little dab of sealer took care of it.
Recommend using the auto fill kit available, fill it and forget it untill the main fuel guage starts to go down. Very easy install."

Toolbox/tank Combo,
July 9, 2007
By TruckLadyAZ from Arizona - Phoenix
"The diamond plate toolbox/tank combo arrived on time, was even better than I hoped and is the best deal I found after a LOT of looking. The handy sight gauge is great. I did have to have the box altered to fit behind the wheelwells, so don't forget to measure! (I knew that before I bought it so that was OK) Also its flush with the top of my bed (2006 Ram 2500 quad) so I can put a tonneau over it. Best box for the price anyplace."

Auxiliary Fuel Tank and Toolbox Combo — 60 Gallon,,
March 7, 2007
"The tank is well made and installed easily.
The outlet could have been a size larger which would inprove filling the main tank faster.
This brings us to the adapter kit which also needs to be larger for better fuel flow.
An electric fuel cut of valve needs to be added as an option. I'm tring to locate one as I write this review.
I am very happy with how promptly it was sent to my house."

"I used installation kit and now I go 800 miles before I need to refuel. I leave the valve open all the time so it is always feeding into my regular fuel tank and when the gauge moves off of full it time to refill Aux tank.Plenty of room also in tool box. Cheapest that I found anyplace. Excellent workmanship"

Diamond plate aluminum 60 gal. fuel tank /toolbox,
November 17, 2006
By longhaulRVer from Port Orange, Florida
"This aux. fuel tank / toolbox combo is just right for any serious RV'er. It extends my range between fuel stops from 300 to about 900 miles ! A definate PLUS in view of todays fuel prices! The just-right size toolbox is perfect for emergency road gear (jacks, lug wrenches, tire pressure guages, roadside warning signs etc.) and also has a very handy fuel level guage so you don't have to guess how much fuel remains. This high Quality Aluminum fuel tank looks real stylish, (polished Diamond Plate) ,is very practical and ,when empty, is light enough to be easily removed to allow full use of cargo space if necessary. A 'must have' item for any RV'er especially if you do any amount of long distance towing."
