Auxiliary Fuel Tank/Toolbox Combo

"In these times of high fuel prices, the tank/box has paid for itself many times over... I drive a diesel pick-up over the road and see a wide fluctuation in fuel prices state to state. The box allows me to get back to the lowest price I see, on the way out. I get 8-10mpg loaded and 12-15mpg empty, the 91 gal tank, plus my 45 gal stock tank means I can go between 1100 and 1300 miles on a single fill, if I wait for the cheap fuel and get around 100 gals I'm saving a buck for each penny saved and it adds up fast. I know a lot of drivers are concerned about the DOT and tanks, but after being stopped and checked a few times, I've never had a problem. The tank has a built in gauge, but I've mounted the tank to gravity feed directly into the main tank so when the stock fuel gauge starts to move, I know how much fuel I have left without having to check the outside gauge."
