Diesel Install Kit,
July 13, 2009
"Everything was there, easy to understand instructions. Gravity feed is a cheap inexpensive way to go. I did add an electronic switch and solenoid valve after the manual valve. If the manual switch fails, I can replace it without empting the tank. Now as I drive down the road I can flip a switch and start filling my main tank. If I shut off the engine the valve closes (safety measure) ."

Diesel Install Kit for Auxiliary Diesel Fuel Tank,

"I installed this kit with ease. It's a straight forward package that will get your aux. tank connected to the main tank. One word of advice: Put the shut off valve & a filter before the T that goes into your trucks origional fill tube. I found after a few full tanks that the filter needed changing. This was due to the aux. tank being used & had some crud in it. So being able to use the shut off valve, it was easy to swap out the filter for new. Also I found raising the factory tank vent or putting in a one way breather was a must when the both were full. It will overfill & leak out the factory vent. Overall this is a 5 star product. Hope this helps---Proflow"

Better than nothing at all,

"I put this little dude on my 05 F-250. It worked fine for about six months then it quit transfering after I had it turned off for a while. Once I got it working again by tapping on it, it would not shut off. I had to keep a close watch on it to keep from spilling fuel. I guess it may have gotten gummed up or something. It was a buggar to install due to the narrow space on the Ford. It also transfers very slow. Probably due to the size of the I.D."

fuel transfer installation kit,

"Easy installation. Cutting filler hose from tank to filler opening was trial and error to begin with. Sawsall would not cut it easily. Switched to sharp utility knife and it was a piece of cake. Overall installation was easy. I spent about 45 minutes. Highly recomend this kit for your tranfer tank installation."

Effective and simple design,

"Works exactly as described...no overfilling or leaks from the check valve. I installed mine on a 2001 F250 short bed extended cab. The valve had to fit just above the frame rail and under the bed. Clearance was tight and the area is difficult to reach. It took me over an hour to cut the factory fill tube and get the valve secured with the hose clamps. Patience is required. If the installation was a little less taxing on the fingers, I would have given it a 5 star rating. Perhaps on other trucks there is more working room. Before ordering, I would suggest scoping out your truck tor adequate installation room
Once installed, it has function perfectly. Simple is good, and this system feeding the fuel using gravity and a check valve is a great value."
