Disappointed

"The unit is nice, but has not functions as well as I had hoped. The reversing spray head does not reverse most of the time making it less than satisfactiory."

"This sprinkler seems well made. It is easy to adjust the spray of water. The hose connection should be a little beefier made. Overall a good product"

It's just ok....

"We used the sprinkler in the garden, had almost daily use. Sprinkler head has a spring on it to change the direction of rotation. This spring broke after 30 days. Changed where we put the sprinkler and its fine for watering in a circle.
Legs are a bit flimsey."

A good value

"The sprinkler head is built well, and is easily and infinitely adjustable. The tripod, however, while being stout enough to hold the sprinkler in place, leaves a little to be desired in terms of heft and quality. I don't think it will last nearly as long as the sprinkler head. Overall, a good value for the price. I'd buy it again, unless I could find something similar with a more robust tripod for not much more."

Great sprinkler for the price

"I have a steep 1 1/2 acre lot. This tripod and sprinkler combo is perfect for accommodating the slope. Very easy to adjust. The sprinkler works great, covers a broad pattern. Adjusts like most other impulse sprinklers. I've had no problems whatsoever, it does exactly what I bought it for. Can't beat this price, either."

Gilmour Tripod Sprinkler, Model# 167TRI1

"I bought one of these Gilmour Tripod Sprinklers after seeing how well it performed at my father’s home. I went to Northern Tool that same day to buy one for myself. The tripod is very stable on a wide variety of surfaces (grass, packed dirt, concrete, gravel), easy to adjust and is very durable. The coverage will, of course, depend on your water pressure. On days with high winds you’ll want to set the tripod as low as possible. I’ve spent much more on units that didn’t perform as well as this does. I highly recommend this sprinkler. I’ll probably buy two more for next year. I’m looking forward to seeing what Gilmour comes out with next."
