Great splitter

"Just bought this tool and it is awesome. Whether your splitting a small or large quantity of wood this baby works great. I use it to split big rounds so I can lift them onto my splitter. I have a bad back so I do everything I can to not have to bend over. This splitter is so easy to use and very little effort even on big pieces. I does take a little bit of time on big pieces but the energy you save versus swinging a heavy axe or maul is huge. I consider my self a professional wood splitter and this tool is one of the best inventions I've ever used. My 80 year old neighbor tried it and he loved it! If your a wood splitter you'll thank your self if you buy this tool. It's a great addition to the tools needed to split wood big or small. I highly recommend it especially for older or weak people who need to split wood with out killing there backs!!!"

Efficient and Easy

"The Manual Log Splitter I recently ordered is one of the best purchases I have ever made. It works as easily and well as the description and video indicated.
I am a 67 year old woman who is no stranger to using tools of various kinds, but I do have some balance issues so swinging an axe not a good idea. This tool, however, allows me to continue having the satisfaction of splitting logs too big for my stove myself. I can also have cords of wood delivered for cheaper price if they don't have to split them to smaller sizes.
I simply loosen the screw that hold the two parts tightly in place and then the 'driver' sheath can be raised and dropped on the wedge you've placed in an existing crack or I've even made my own opening with it. It is of course a little heavy ---it needs to be to drive the wedge into the log, but I can guide and control it easily, gravity does most of the work. When done push the upper portion down as far as it will go and tighten the screw again for safety.
I would recommend this tool to anyone needing log splitter."

"I was able to split very large logs with not a lot of effort. Would prefer it to be a little longer, but used a stump for a chopping block so I didn't have to hunch over. I have a foot splitter for smaller pieces"

Splitting Logs is woman's work

"This will be my 4th splitter. Busted the wedge off the previous three splitting live oak (we're in the South). My 12-year-old boy can use it to split large logs. So can I, a late 40s woman who works in an office during the day. We split two trees using the first. The second didn't last long, 1 tree. Same with the 3rd. Nevertheless, for the random split you can't beat this wedge on a stick."
