"I make large midevil battle shields for wall display and use large planks to construct them....pine and or fir wood...this planer will cut across the grain, aginst the grain, across knots in any direction...I can finish down a shield thats 3 foot by 4 foot in just a few minnuts time, from full plank thickness to half thickness center and a half inch at the edges..this planer is some thing I cant do with out and wont loan out but I always like to show folks how well it works......I like seeing the look on thier face when they see it in action!"
