A top notch table saw for pros and homeowners

"Dewalt is the first name in tools for me. If it's yellow and black, I know it will hold up to the abuse I put it through at home. When my old SKIL saw crapped out after 5 years of being used weekly, I wanted to buy something high end. I didn't need the one up from this that had the wheels as it stays permanently in a corner of my shop. The stand is surprisingly sturdy. The blade controls are very fluid and setting and keeping the cut angle are simple affairs. I especially like how the fence, unlike the last one I had, locks in place and stays there. Even when cutting really fine grade woods (cabinet quality pine) and cutting them fast, everything stays lined up and the cuts I make look like a lumber shop did them. Very pleased with the design. The noise level is good. Almost no vibration even when the blade is at full speed."

Had to buy my own

"This is the table saw that we haveat work. It usually just sits in the tool room collecting dust. We recently had to construct some temporary storage rooms in one of our empty galleries and had to bust this bad boy out. It had a pile of rigging gear (shackles mostly) sitting on it for who know how long. It needed absolutely no adjustment when we got it to the site. It performed flawlessly. I even brought in some red oak from home to cut. It was just easier than using my craftsman at home. I highly recommend this baby and can't wait for mine to arrive. (takes a bit longer due to being factory shipped.)"

"This is a great saw. All of the parts are quality made, the only plastic is the outer shell. Easy to assemble and the fence adjusts very accurately and easily. Pair this saw with the heavier duty DeWalt table saw stand and you have a match made in heaven. You will love the set-up! I know I do!"

Great Job Saw

,

"I have owned this saw now for about 9yrs (I think, maybe 10, it was when it was rather new in the Dewalt line). I can't say anything bad about the saw, other than it could use a few more amps for cutting 4"x4" white oak,( now that's tough on any saw), and I wish it had an on board tool to remove the throat plate when changing the blades. I guess what sold me on this particular model back in the day, was the fence system. Since I've owned this saw, I have not had to make any adjustments what so ever to the fence system, dead on everytime, holds parallel, even when It fell off my tailgate doing 50mph down the road. That's another story all in itself, the saw is very rugged, only had to replace a couple rubber feet and a plastic piece on the drop down fence after skidding and tumbling down the higway. I use the saw from everything from rough framing to cabinet making. Great saw, highly recomended."

"this is a great portable saw. I have used it for about 2 years so far on quite a bit for cabinet making, shelving, and many at home jobs. It is well built and has handles on the sides for easy carrying. Its not too heavy to lug around (assuming you're job site isn't too far from the truck) and I can't say enough good about it.
This is the only table saw I have owned so I can't compare it to others, but it works just as good now as the day i bought it."

"I have owned it for est 5 years and don't use it every day, but when I do it never lets me down. Light enough to move it by myself but powerful to use as needed. I would buy it again."
