Bomber Jacket Review

,
March 2, 2015
By
from Copperas Cove TX
" The jacket certainly proved its worth the 2nd weekend I had it. Worked a bad accident on an icy bridge with the wind and frozen rain providing the test. I stayed warm while working the accident to the point I had to open the jacket while driving back to the shop. I would recommend this jacket to any emergency worker that works outside in the cold weather. "

Runs a size small

" I bought these for myself and my employees. Had to reorder when they arrived, as they ran 1 size too small. Liner sleeves are a bit long, but it is most comfortable when the liner is out anyway. Overall, a good purchase "

Winter weather must!!

,
January 14, 2015
By
from Yorktown, VA
" Looking for a coat that keeps winter weather out? This is the best one. Used it in upstate NY where it was only 7 degrees and worked at keeping the wind and air out. And since it can be worn separately, makes it great for other outdoor construction work. "

" Used jacket in the rain to direct traffic at night, was warm and dry, radio pocket was too small for my radio, but it fit in enough to be hands free. not cold out enough to use inner liner, but the jackets quilted lining is plenty warm. "

Good jacket

,

By
from Lonestar state
" I bought for use as a Hi-Vis jacket for use on my ATV, use on the motorcycle on cooler mornings when I head to work at 5:30 AM or during bad weather when my fire department jacket would be inappropriate to wear.
Over all it is a good jacket. I relocated the loops of the liner where the ends of the sleeves button in. The stock location is not quite right. After the mod I have no issues with it. "

Great outside, but skip the liner.

" The outer jacket itself is great. Only had one overstitch on the pocket, but that's really the only flaw I saw in 3 weeks.
The fleece liner is where the main problems are though. The sleeves are too long, so they stick out of the jacket by like 8". The loops to keep them in the jacket are way too long, allowing them to come out. Its just really hard to get this thing to fit on correctly on your arms.
If i take the liner out, and just put a hoodie on, or even wear the liner separately then put the jacket on, it's good.
The neck is also funky too. It doesn't zip up all the way because the neck hole is like, 5" diameter. Unless you're a giraffe, don't expect to be able to zip it to the top.
Other than that, it's REALLY warm. It was -10* here recently, and my face was horribly cold, but my torso was warm.
Ill try and update in a couple months.
