Can I Play?,
August 16, 2008
By UncleT
from Independence, La.
"I bought 2 of these based on the reviews I read. I'm glad I did. They are well made and one of the best buys I've made in a long time; well worth the cost. My nephews love them. The 5 yr. old took right to it. The 3 yr. old took a little longer but he's got it now. I just wish they'd make an adult size so I could play too!"

Great Toy for the Money,
October 22, 2009
By momoftwo
from California
"I bought this for my son's 3rd Birthday. He loves it....we take it camping with us and there is usually a line of kids waiting to use it. I like it because the seat/digger is one part and the base is another making it easy to take apart and take it camping or to the beach. The only thing that I do not like is the hand grips come off...I am going to try some superglue to fix that."

By Krisann

"I bought 2 for my little ones and they love em'. Great price and work well. They can't wait to use them in the snow :) Only downfall is that I think they could be just a little bigger and the levers seem too close to their bodies but other then that they love them!!"

"My grandchildren have spent hours on these diggers. We bought 2 and both my grandchildren (a boy and a girl) have enjoyed the realistic way they move and look. Great fun for them and fun for us to watch what they do and how they use thier imagination while they play with a toy that needs little maintenance,no batteries and no electricity. Wonderful toy!!!"

Little Digger,
July 20, 2009
By HappyGrandpaw
from Lawrenceburg, KY
"What a deal! My grandson recently fell in love with a similar digger at a local playground. I wrote down the information and looked it up on the internet. Price was a little over $500. Whew, I thought there had to be a better alternative for something he would only use when visiting. Found your Little Digger Sandlot Toy while searching for something else @ Northern Tools.
After seeing your price, I ordered one to see if he would like it. Did he ever, now whenever he comes to visit, he goes directly for the "digger." Nothing will faster give a product 5 stars than a very happy grandson. Thanks!!

Great toy for the price,
July 20, 2009
By MomfromIndiana
from Columbus, IN
"The only complaint that I have is that the seat is too close to the handles and it should be moved back a little bit. My husband will drill a few holes to move it. Every time my son tries to lift the sand he needs to either drop it half way or get off the seat. He is five so maybe it was designed for younger kids."

Super!!!,

"We purchased the Little Digger for our son and he thoroughly enjoyed it. He was always on it whenever he could be. It taught him patience on where he could turn it and coordination on working the handles and where he wanted the bucket to go. We passed it down to our nephew and years later bought our grand-daughter and grand-son each one for their birthdays. I would pass this great gift on to everyone."

Quality Digger- Great Price!,
March 16, 2009
By ClaraL
from South Alabama
"Santa brought this digger to my four year old son. Not only does it keep him occupied for an extended period of time, I was pleasantly surprised that our daughter and her friends love to dig as well. This tool assists in the development of fine motor skills. We can not wait to take it to the beach. This was easy to assemble. It is also sturdy. I would recommend it to ages 3 and up. Warning - watch out for the holes in the yard. They have potential to be ankle breakers."

Good digger for the price,
March 16, 2009
By kwhite12
"This is a good product for the price. The only drawback we found is that when our grandson sits on the seat, to get full extention the handles have to be pulled back all the way against the body making it difficult to get a full range of motion."

Great Quality,
January 3, 2009
By Jason4

"I bought two of these for my 2 and 4 year old for christmas. They both love their diggers. They were very simply to put together. I was very impressed with the quality of the diggers. They were made almost completely of metal. The seat is made of plastic but very durable. Dollar for dollar I feel these were the best presents they received for christmas. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with children."

"I purchased two of these for my 3 and 5 year old sons. They were such a big hit. They use these in the dirt instead of the sand. Easy to put together. I'm glad I purchased these instead of the more expensive excavators. Worth every dollar I paid."
