"WOW, I think I have lost my 2 1/2 year old son to this new backhoe tractor. He has been on this toy everyday since Christmas. This toy was easy to put together and seems to be indestructible. He has no problems pedaling the tractor around the house. Delivery was super fast. I would recommend this to any aspiring child that likes tractors."

The kids LOVE it!!!,

"My husband and I bought this for our son for Christmas. It was relatively easy to assemble (of course my husband did it). My son was riding it through the house until spring. The neighborhood kids love to play on it. We have a small sandbox and a dirt pile in our backyard. It is nice that there are two seats, although sometimes the back seat is hard to anchor. Overall, I would recommend this if you have a child who loves to play in dirt like mine does."

Cat Toy Tractor with Backhoe,

"I bought this toy a little over two years ago for a friend’s child, who has since had a brother. They both love the toy and often compete to be the first to get to it so they can play with it. And in two years the only thing that has broken is there is a small crack in the seat near where the screws hold it on.
The safety interlock for the backhoe seat (a foot must be released and pushed down below the backhoe seat before the backhoe has full articulation) is a little complicated for children their age.
Assembly was relatively easy, with a few extra parts that you are likely to lose. The only problem is that the instructions were "multi-lingual" (aka, no words just pictures and non-descriptive arrows). This led to a little confusion. Stickers were a little hard to get on without wrinkles, but I doubt the kids minded."

"I bought this for my 4 year old son for Christmas. He had wanted a four wheeler but, was estatic when he saw this in front of the tree. Of course he immediately took it outside to work with. Not only does he work in the pea gravel but he also keeps the ditch line at the bottom of the bank cleaned out. He has also used it for snow removal.
The leg for the back shovel is difficult to put up & down. I usually have to assist him. I believe that the leg should be more sturdy or possibly have two legs. My son works his backhoe hard. I sometimes think that the leg is going snap off.
One reason that I chose this toy was because it is pedal operated. He is now able to pedal it up a stone hill. It has very good traction.
I had this shipped to my place of employment. The maintenance men put it together for me. They said that they had more trouble placing the decals then they did putting it together."

"I bought the CAT Backhoe Tractor for my grandson. His father and I put it together Christmas Eve. It was easy to assemble and the parts fit well. Now, twelve weeks later, he uses it almost daily, and nothing has broken. Although he has to stretch to reach the pedals, it's still his favorite tractor, and he owns over a dozen. I'd buy another toy from this company. In fact, I did, for my other grandson. He's had the same experience with his."

"This product is very well made and durable, our boys 3 and 5 love it! They take it off road, down in the woods, and just out in the backyard as well as drive it around on the deck. I love that it's not motorized but actually requires pedal power. I think that too many of today's children's toys don't require enough physical interaction and that's not at all the case with this realistic tractor. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it to anyone with children who love physical play."

"We bought our 2 1/2 year old this for Christmas. He loves it. It will be a while before he can pedal it because it is big and hard to move around. It was pretty tricky to put together but my husband and his 6 friends got it together.
The only complaint I have it that the kick stand piece has already broken off and we are working on getting a replacement piece."

"This was recently purchased for our 3 year-old son. He loves playing on it and digging in the dirt. Our only complaint we have is the instructions and the assembly of it. It took quite some time to put it together and the instructions were confusing at times."

"I bought this tractor for my son for his third birthday. It came in less than a week, was easy to assemble and well made. This is the best money we have spent on any toy. He has used it almost every single day in the past 6 months and is still as sturdy as the day we bought it. I would also recommend buying the dump truck attachment. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars only because the leg of the back attachment requires an adult most times to put it up and can sometimes stick. Otherwise this is a perfect toy for my son and has already provided hours of enjoyment"

"This is a great toy. My 3 year old cannot get enough of this Backhoe. Absolutely his favorite toy for Christmas. My 5 year old also enjoys it. The toy is made out of heavy duty plastic that so far has been able to withstand the abuse that a 3 & 5 year old put it through. Overall assembly took about 3 1/2 hours but I was taking my time. I showed a friend of mine that has a 3 year old nephew and he was so impressed that he will be buying one for his birthday."

It is well built and a reasonable price for a toy like this. The assembly was fairly simple. The only problem was that the front axle was missing but I went to the hardware store and purchased a threaded rod and made one. I would recommend that before giving it to a child that you assemble it first as I did because they will want to play with it immediately. Use a bench or table to assemble. A definite winner in my book."

"My son (almost 3) got for xmas from his grandparents. This was the biggest hit of the day even the girls that are not into machinery had a great time. My son loves this it is really big, light weight and great quality, he likes the fact that you don't have to take the backhoe off to also have other attachments on. I love the fact that 2 kids can use at the same time.Instructions are only in german huge downfall!!!"

"I bought this for my 3yr old's birthday. He is just big enough for it to fit him and will for many years. He loves it. It took about 3 hours to put together, but that includes the help I got from him. What really helped a lot was the way the pieces were packaged in separate bags that were related to each part of the assembly so screws that were meant for one part would not get mixed up with another part. The only trouble I really had was figuring out how the "outrigger" on the backhoe portion worked. The instructions, as most instructions are now-days, were picture only, where there were words, they were all German. I actually disassembled the backhoe to figure it out. All in all, the instructions and way it was packaged made it quite "user friendly." If I could "improve" on the product, I would make it so it could 'coast' and also add a brake. I have purchased a snow plow attachment and the mega trailer to give to him for Christmas. Soon I will be purchasing additional attachments - he has a list started. I wish I was a kid again - this is my kind of toy!"

"we got this for our son who is 3.5 now and he loves it. easy for him to operate and was easy to assemble. most of the parts are plastic but its very durable, we haven't had any problems yet. we also got the snow plow attachment for it and he had a lot of fun with it over last winter. i also like that there are different attachments that you can buy for it."

"We bought this for my grandson. When the package arrived my wife and I excitedly opened it to assemble it in preperation for my grandsons birthday party later that week. I wasn't impressed with the material the toy was constructed of, but for the money what do you expect. I must have received one destined for Berlin as the instructions manual was all in German. We assembled it by the diagrams which wear similar to the scimatics I have seen engineers use, I'm no engineer."

"We ordered this toy because it will suit 2 when it is completely put together without our boys fighting. It does the job. One will sit on the back and dig while the other is on the front digging. It isn't meant for "heavy" things, however it works in the sand box great. Unfortunately, the stabilizer on the back seat isn't working properly and has to be replaced but still yet, the kids are able to continue to play on it. They love it!!!"

"I would recommend this ride on toy to anyone with small children. Me and my husband bought this toy for our three year old son for Christmas last year and he absolutely loves it. He has a big sand-box that he plays in with the scoop and he has had so much fun playing with this toy. I haven't purchased any attachments for it yet; however, that may be a Christmas present for this year. I am sure your children will love this toy and spend much time enjoying it."

"We just got this for my 4 year old son of his birthday and he went nuts when he seen it. He played with it for hours in the dirt the next day. It is built good and not that hard to put together. I will tell everyone that this a great product and most kids would go nuts to have it."
