NPower Pocket Inverter

"Purchased two of these inverters. Both of them did not produce 120 volts. With 12.5 volts applied, they only produce about 89 volts. As a result it does not meet my needs. Does anyone else have this problem? Can Northern Tool comment? Seems built OK and price point would be good if it produced the intended voltage."

Great Value

"The 60W inverter worked as advertised and is a great value for the money. Output was measured at 115VAC RMS. However, the output waveform was a pure square wave and not a modified sine wave. Peak voltage was 173VAC. Still within tolerance of most appliances."

"If it is a square wave, the peak voltage would be the same as the root mean square, no?
173 volts seems quite dangerous for electronics. Under what conditions did you get the 173?
