A good Spreader at a good price

" This spreader did exactly what I was hoping it would. Some minor assembly required, but notthing too complicated. The hardest thing will be to wire it or run the wiring(red/positive wire only) to the battery. And make sure you have a good ground at the back for the motor. I thought I had a good ground at first, but I had to scrape away some paint on my bracket/hitch to make good contact and then no problem. Once wired up there is a plug at the hitch for when you slide it in & out, very easy to do so, and you're ready to go. It was used on a couple of small factory lots(about 13,000sqft ea.) and it was right about 300-400lbs. per lot for material. The only drawback to this spreader, which almost made me drop the rating, is the cheap switch for the spreader. They warn you to make sure to have a good ground at the switch, which I thought I did, the in-line fuse blew changed it then the switch stopped working. I just bypassed the switch and used the wires until I put a new switch in. Overall I am pleased with this model it worked out really well for me. "
