Cheaply Made Fan

" This thing has been a headache from the get go. It's main motor is held in by three strips of metal loosely faceted to the main frame with 3 self tapping screws. The fan blades rubbed against the housing untill i bent in the ends. The fan runs extremely loud even on low setting on my adjuster is makes a loud hum coming from inside the engine. The shutters on the outside do not close when the fan is shutdown they stay wedged open due to another cheaply designed part. This fan has zero practical use and shouldn't be sold as a completed product especially for the price listed. "

" Just received my fan today. An inspection upon unboxing revealed that there's no FAN attached to the motor! Someone was in a hurry on the assembly line, apparently. In the process of contacting customer service - will update the review when the parts arrive, and I can actually test it's operation. "

" ordered this fan to vent exhaust gases from my generator out of the barn. cut the hole in the barn wall and reinforced it a little. added a plug from a old cord and plugged it into the generator. Now when i run the generator the fan comes when the generator gets up and running. Great service, fast delivery ! i will order again from Northern. "
