"I recently purchased this sandblaster and it works wonderfully. I would recommend this unit to anyone that is looking for a really good blaster at a minimum cost. I have used the blaster quite a few times and it has worked as advertised. Thank you for having good equipment at a reasonable cost."

Works great if air is dry.

"I found that the blaster works very well, until moisture from our high humidity dampens the blast media, causing it to plug. Managed to get through my first project, but will definitely install a filter/dryer on the compressor outlet."

Great Blaster

"I bought this pressure blaster to media blast a muscle car restoration project. I used coal/slag black beauty for the media on all areas that are not prone to warping and it worked great. I do have a 5 HP 100 CFM compressor and would recommend this as a minimum for continued blasting. I'm amazed at how many times I use the blaster for various projects.
I ordered a few spare nozzles and rubber stops for the nozzle and used a couple.
I did have a valve come loose but this was an easy fix.
Great product for the price."

"Solidly constructed, wheels can handle fully loaded unit on solid deck without problem, but are a bit narrow for moving on grass or gravel. Welds are clean and substantial. Easily assembled from included instructions. Blast tip is a heavy duty piece of ceramic and the nozzle mechanism is a beefy spring loaded cover with a replaceable ceramic block to cover the tip when not in use. Capacity is enough to supply a heavy flow for 15 to 20 minutes. With a dry air supply, this unit will throw abrasive media with high flow and ample kinetic energy to blast parts down to bare metal quickly. Valves and well made ball-type and do take some adjustments in the field based on media size and density, but once you have it dialed in, it just goes and goes. Far superior to the media flow from a siphon-based unit. Parts survive shipping well and travel in styrofoam packed box."

ALC pressure blaster #41600

"Nice and light. Move it around without a crane. Wokmanship is fine. Basic design is excellent. Media loads are small and quickly used up. That's OK. No "ballbusting" with this one. The nozzels are TYPE ONE, they're huge...that's good....no "wimpy nozzels" here...You'll use them up fast. Get an extra "out put hose", 10 footer is the one. It will be eight foot in no time as you cut off "blown sections' -it will "blow throught" with carbide in no time. "Lead Time".. hose and nozzels are expendables. Have stock on-hand...or wait....The nozzels are packed 2 per pack for a reason...CFM of a nozzel and your air compressor's out are CRITICAL...My compressor is 26 CFM @ 175 psi. If your compressor cannot put out the volume, you should think about a compressor that willDon't over pressure or under CFM. Don't feed wet or damp media into the unit. Been there ,done that. If "this unit" will not work for you, pay someone to do it for you. Five Stars for the Manufacturer and Six for Northern for the introduction.Stainless screen is avaiable to sift your recycled media...the screen is cheap, the Carbide is very "quick"and very expensive, but can be used over and over. Feed media slowly. Valve at the bottom of the tank. Too open too soon and you may clog...You'll only do that once.......You'll love this unit..."
