"Positives: Starts real easy for a 15 +or- HP motor, (on the 1st pull) Electric start is nice for the wife, it is the feature I felt I needed Runs quieter than my former generator with a 10HP Tecumseh Motor Gas gauge is a nice feature The fuel inlet includes a strainer and the cap is tethered so it isn't misplaced. Wheel / Handle kit is a nice feature, makes this nearly 200lb unit easy to transport.
Negatives: The manual is very poorly written: Specifes oil capacity @ 1.1 litres or .634 qts, actual conversion is about 1 qt. Manual states the battery is included, it is not,! A call to customer service confirms the manual is wrong, and that this is a common complaint. They offer to sell a battery for $69 + shipping, I declined Manual informs a valve adjustment is necessary @ 50 hours, there are no further instructions. The assembly instructions are weak, however assembly isn't too difficult.
Assembly: the axles are larger than the holes they are required to be inserted into in the frame, I first thought this was thick paint, but to make the axles fit I had to remove a slight bit of metal with a 1/2" drill bit.
The on off switch is a key, seems like a chance to lose a key, a simple switch seems more cost effective, and there would be no key to lose or break off in the "lock""
