Worth the wait!!,

"Although it took almost 6 months on backorder this was worth the wait. I should have bought another one. I had one just like it about 30 years ago. There is some assembly required and the instructions are not the greatest. Word of advise the Keys are inside the rear tool compartment. Only a few minor things wrong when I received the order. First one was the front pedals were bent in different directions. Second handle bar was missing a screw. Third a few minor dings on the bike itself.
All of those thing looked like they were caused during shipping but nothing major. A few tools and it's ready.
When you do get the bike prepped and ready the engine needs some extra kick when starting it. It is best to put the bike up on its stand and start pedaling like a mad man and the engine will kick right over. Once the engine starts for the first time one or two kick starts will fire it up.
Most of all put on a helmet and have fun."

"This moped is a decent moped, but is way underpowered in its stock form. It has too many bells and whistles that build up its curb weight. I am 220 pounds and with me on it it will not go up most hills unless i help it by pedaling. The Steering is a little week in my opinion the manufacturing proccesses they used on it make it so it bends a lot where the forks connect to the pivoting area. The headlamp is very bright, if you are moving, but dims drastically when braking or going slow. I have owned about 4 mopeds and this one lacks that torque you need to get up hills. It has a good top speed on flat ground, 25mph. I like that there is a company still making mopeds, but this moped needs to be slimmed down and have some more power oriented modifications done to it. All the chrome stuff adds a ton of weight, like the fender on the rear, is it really necessary that be there? I mean it has part of the frame extending over the rear tire to prevent splash ups on your back, but since there is a light attached to it you can not simply remove it. the Kickstand is also very weak and feels like it will give out one day, the seat has a bad clamping system so that it will creep around on its tilting axis. The hand controls are actually pretty nice for this moped and are one of the better things in my opinion.
Overall this moped with some power modifications and weight shedding should be a good moped, but since some of the main frame parts are so week it will never be an excellent moped. An older moped may bought and be rebuilt with new parts for the same cost of this in some cases."
