Back saver

" Hadn't put it though the logging process yet,but did use it picking up tree branches & limbs after our windstorm last week, what a back saver. I'm not sure if it's going to do well with big stuff, the blade is not very stout to be sturdy enough?also thought the price a bit steep for what it is. "

Incredible!

" Worth it's weight in gold! The 28 inch pick instantly became an extension of my arm. It allowed me to carry or roll logs with ease across uneven terrain from the first time I picked it up. It's use is intuitive as there is obviously only one way to use it once you've picked it up. It is pricey, but worth every penny. "

" This tool is a sleeper. At the time I ordered it, I wasn't convinced that I made the right choice, once I held it in my hand, I knew I had -- it became a natural extension of my arm. It is an outstanding example of exquisite engineering. Though light, it is rugged. Though simple, effective. This tool deserves a place at the top of your logging hand tool shopping list. I recommend it. "

" In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this tool. It is so lightweight I was fearful it would be flimsy. It is tough and very handy while processing firewood. I have used it to move around 300-400 pound hickory log pieces. The other thing I haven't figured out yet is how the physics of this thing works. Some how it makes moving around very heavy logs manageable.
I use it to move logs around on the ground to get them to the log lift on my splitter. I also use it to pull logs from the log lift over into the splitting area of the splitting wedge. I use a Timberwolf TW-7 log splitter.
I am considering purchasing a second log pick - one for the person preping the logs for the log lift and one for the person doing the splitting. "
