"This rack was quick and simple to assemble. It is sturdy and holds up well. One thing though, there are not enough washers to space the uprights so that they are straight up and down. I suggest if you buy this that you stop at a local hardware store and buy 4 extra 5/16" flat washers to help in the spaces they are used. they supply two for each connection and it really needs 3. Other than that it is an excellent buy!"
"I bought this rack for my husband to store his hickory for the smoker. It was very easy to assemble and looks great in the backyard. The included cover keeps the wood dry and was a breeze to install. Great rack especially for the money."
"I needed a nice looking rack for my front porch and this fits the bill. Easy to assmeble and seems to be constructed well. My wife loves the way it looks. Last year I just used 2X4s - this is far more functional and easy on the eyes."
"The rack itself is well constructed and has held up in a hurricane quite well. The velcroed cover faded to a sickly looking gray within a few months. I suspect it will deteriorate to rags within a year or two and I’ll be required to buy another. Or do without. Planned obsolescent or poor quality material or both, I don’t know."
"I needed a place to store split logs off the ground and out of the weather. Very functional and aesthetically pleasing. The cover is a nice feature, but I can't get it to look as tailored in the pictures...logs are not uniformly cut and oddly shaped. Great for the money."
"This product was easy to assemble and is a good value for the money. The overall quality is excellent and the cover is an added benefit. I already have the rack filled with wood."

Poorly Designed Cover
May 22, 2011
"While the frame is well constructed and easy to assemble the cover is poorly designed. Unless you have your wood cut at about 20" wide or less and keep the frame out of the wind the Velcro will not hold as it can't get enough purchase. A stronger Velcro or a couple of additional strips might solve the problem but the cover is more trouble than it's worth. You would probably be better off taking the cover to a seamstress and having additional Velcro installed."
