"I brought my pellet stove this winter. It has worked out well so far.It does not have the B.T.U.of a wood stove but it is much easier to use than a wood stove.I live on Long Island,New York.I have a four bedroom cape.my pellet stove has 50,000 B.T.U.output max.It heats the main house but not the total house. However I saved about 400.gal of heating oil this winter.I use about one 40lb.bag of wood pellets a day.I clean my stove every 4 or 5 days.overall I would say this is a good investment."
